Valencia CF and Diego López have penned a contract extension for the Asturian attacker for one additional season until June 30th, 2027.
The footballer (13/05/2002) renewed his contract with Valencia CF last summer until 2026 and today his contract extension has been activated after meeting the contractual targets concerning the number of appearances.
Following his breakthrough into the first team with a decisive contribution in the 2022-2023 run-in, Diego López has established himself as an important player in Valencia CF's frontline under Rubén Baraja.
Despite his youth, at 21 years old he has become a future prospect for the Club with great room for growth helping the team in different positions.
He has become a fixture for Valencia CF with whom he has racked up 31 appearances between LaLiga EA Sports and the Copa del Rey combined with four goals and five assists to his name as well as for the Spain U21 side with whom he has made 8 appearances scoring two goals and providing one assist.
